Virgin or Coloured Hair

Standard pricing applies for virgin and coloured hair that has not been heavily lightened.

Blonde or Lightened Hair

Blonde hair requires additional care, customised heat settings and specialised techniques to protect the integrity of the hair while achieving the best possible result.

Afro, Coarse or Coily Hair

Coarse and Afro-textured hair requires more product, additional straightening time and a highly customised approach.

Many traditional keratin treatments also rely on formaldehyde or formaldehyde-releasing ingredients to lock the hair into a smoother shape when heat is applied. While keratin treatments can leave the hair looking shiny and less frizzy, the coating gradually washes away over time, allowing the hair to return to its natural texture.

Nano Botox is a deep-conditioning smoothing treatment designed to restore dry, damaged and frizzy hair while improving manageability without fully straightening your natural texture. Unlike nanoplasty, Hair Botox focuses on repairing and smoothing the hair, making it softer, shinier and easier to style while maintaining natural movement. Formulated with a nourishing blend of collagen, proteins, vitamins and natural oils, it helps replenish damaged areas within the hair fibre, leaving hair feeling healthier, stronger and noticeably smoother. Nano Botox is formaldehyde-free and is ideal for dry, colour-treated, chemically processed or naturally frizzy hair.

Yes. Nanoplasty is formaldehyde-free and uses natural, plant-based ingredients including amino acids, organic acids, and proteins. There are no harsh chemical fumes during the treatment, making it a safer alternative to traditional straightening methods for both clients and stylists.

Nanoplasty is free from harsh chemicals and formaldehyde, making it safe during pregnanacy. However, we always recommend consulting with your doctor before proceeding with any treatment during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Nanoplasty is suitable for all hair types, from fine and wavy to thick, coarse and highly textured hair. Every treatment is customised to your hair type, condition and goals. While most clients achieve 100% straight results after one treatment, some very coarse, highly textured, resistant, or already chemically processed hair types may require 2–3 treatments to achieve a fully straight result.

Nanoplasty creates long-lasting straight hair that grows out rather than washing out. The treated hair remains straight, while new natural hair grows in from the roots over time. Unlike permanent chemical straightening, nanoplasty doesn't permanently break the hair's internal bonds, making it a gentler alternative while still delivering lasting straightening results. Most clients achieve their desired result in one treatment, although some coarse or highly textured hair types may require 2–3 treatments for a fully straight finish.

Due to the natural acids in the nanoplasty formula, artificially coloured hair can lift 1-3 shades lighter after nanoplasty. Nanoplasty is safe for blonde hair and can actually tone lighter shades beautifully. We'll discuss any potential colour impact during your consultation so there are no surprises.

Nanoplasty works beautifully alongside colour services. You can tint or colour your hair just 24 hours after your appointment, so long as the dye is ammonia free. If you're planning to bleach or lighten your hair, we recommend scheduling this around 4 weeks before your nanoplasty treatment whenever possible. If bleaching after nanoplasty, waiting 4 weeks helps ensure your hair remains in the best possible condition.

Yes! Our silicone-free nanoplasty formula allows your hair to hold curls beautifully when heat styled. Unlike some nanoplasty formulas that contain heavy silicones and coating agents that weigh the hair down, our lightweight formula gives you the flexibility to curl, wave or style your hair whenever you like. Once washed, your hair will return to its smooth, straight finish.

Nanoplasty is a straightening treatment that eliminates frizz and delivers sleek, straight results. Nano Botox is a deep conditioning and repair treatment that smooths frizz and restores health, but preserves your natural curl or wave pattern. If you want straight, go Nanoplasty. If you want smooth hair without losing your curls, go Nano Botox. We'll help you decide during your consultation.

You can wash your hair straight away after your nanoplasty treatment! There's no 3-day waiting period like traditional keratin. For Nano Botox, we recommend waiting 24 hours before washing your hair. You can still tuck your hair behind your ears, but try to avoid tying your hair up until you've washed it.

Use whatever works for your hair. Seriously. One of the many benefits of nanoplasty is that you don't need to overhaul your entire hair routine to maintain your results, no matter how many other salons tell you that you do. If your current shampoo and conditioner work well for you, keep using them. The treatment does the heavy lifting from the inside, so you can keep your routine simple and still enjoy beautiful results. For Nano Botox, a sulfate-free shampoo is highly recommended to avoid stripping the treatment from your hair quicker.

Yes, you can swim in both salt water and chlorinated pools after treatment. However, both can strip moisture from the hair over time. We recommend applying a leave-in conditioner or hair mask before swimming to protect your hair and help maintain your results for longer.

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 48 hours in advance through your Ovatu booking confirmation. Changes made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee. Please contact us directly if you need to make a last-minute change.
